about the role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Operational Experience ATI Specialist to lead and expand our strategic footprint in the Airports & Airlines sector globally. This role is under the Strategic Value Proposition (SVP) Operational Experience and the candidate will be working closely with the solutions and sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting go-to-market strategies to position our portfolio and solutions in the aviation ecosystem—including airport authorities, airlines, and related infrastructure partners.

 

Market Development & Opportunity Identification:

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize business opportunities in the Airports & Airlines sector.
  • Position Operational Experience (OX) Strategic Value Proposition, Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads across airport operations, airline services, and aviation IT.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to shape go-to-market strategies.

Client Engagement, Solution Positioning & Proposal Development:

  • Work closely with solution architects and technical teams to position tailored solutions such as Smart Airport technologies, Passenger Experience Platforms, IoT, AI-driven operations, Command Control Centers and Digital Twin initiatives.
  • Coordinate the development of proposals with partners, RFP responses, and presentations.
  • Ability to present to C-level suite and technical teams.

Collaboration & Strategy Alignment:

  • Align regional business strategies with corporate goals and collaborate across cross-functional teams including marketing, pre-sales, legal, and finance.
  • Contribute to strategic planning, account development, and revenue forecasting.
  • Support partner evaluation, pricing models, and new partnership frameworks.
  • Drive deal closure through effective stakeholder engagement and solution alignment.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7+ years of business development experience, preferably in the aviation or transportation industry.
  • Strong understanding of airport infrastructure, airline operations, and aviation digital transformation trends.
  • Proven track record of building client relationships and closing large complex deals.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with public and private stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, is a plus.


about you

  • Understanding of sustainability, operations, and digital solutions in ATI.
  • Technical Architecture and the data architecture understanding, TOGAF is a plus.
  • Familiarity with aviation technologies: AODB, FIDS, BHS, passenger flow analytics, and airport management systems.
  • Multilingual capabilities and international exposure are advantageous.

  • Base salary from 2 410 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
