EDHEC Sailing Cup 2016
For its 48th edition, the EDHEC Sailing Cup is heading to Roscoff from the 15th to the 23rd of April 2016.
For 8 years now, Orange has been one of the main sponsors of this event, which attracts 3,000 participants for a week of intense competition on sea, land and sand. Altogether, more than 160 schools and 22 nationalities will be represented.
A different way of meeting people
For Orange, this event is an opportunity to get to know students and future graduates from all sorts of backgrounds, in relaxed but dynamic surroundings. And the students have an opportunity to meet with Group employees and talk to them about their profession and careers.
The Seabercafé, an institution
Orange also supplies its expertise and telecommunications services by providing an ultra-broadband digital experience at the Orange "Seabercafé", a place for all the participants to meet up and connect. Indeed, the Orange "Seabercafé" works entirely on fibre and offers ultra-fast broadband speeds for internet users thanks to Orange Fibre. Participants can also come along and just relax, watching the latest series available in the OCS bundle. Table football will be freely available as well as gaming cockpits for playing Split / Second velocity. A photographer will also be present throughout the week to capture the best moments, alone or as a team, and print and share them on Facebook and Twitter. Finally, we have set up a "Questions box" with our partner JobTeaser to collect feedback throughout the week.
The Orange Port Escale ("port of call"), Tuesday 19th April
This year, the Orange Port Escale, the 'must' among the events of the "Trophée mer", will take place in Trébeurden. The Orange team will welcome the crews in the port of Trébeurden to distribute the famous Orange Port Escale T-shirts and have a chat over cocktails. From 7 pm onwards, the festivities will take place in a marquee put up specially for the event…The programme will include regional specialities and a rock concert. Quite an evening to look forward to!
The Orange Battle will take place from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd April
This year, Orange will once again be pulling out all the stops to entertain the students by offering all the participants an opportunity to take part in the Orange Battle! From Monday 18th to Friday 22nd April 2016, those who have entered the Orange Battle will be able to take part in teams in the many daily events and win as many points as possible.
