Orange certified as a Top Employer Africa 2017
On Thursday 13 October, Orange was certified a Top Employer Africa 2017 for the fourth year running in Johannesburg, South Africa. This year, Orange received a special prize for being one of the 3 leading Top Employers on the continent.
This certification recognises our "HR best practices" and our continuous improvement strategy on the African continent. Thanks to our HR policies, we create the conditions that allow our employees to deliver an incomparable customer experience.
This distinction was obtained thanks to the certifications of Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Guinea, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco, Niger and Senegal, as well as those of Orange Business Services in South Africa, Egypt and Mauritius.
Orange is one of the 8 employers in the world to be certified Top Employer Global 2016.
By once again obtaining the certification for the African continent, Orange has made a first step towards renewing its global certification.
Clotilde Boury, Director of Human Resources, Orange MEA Region
"This external benchmark with the best practices of other companies in Africa and the perceptions of our employees that emerge from our international employee surveys, we have confidence in our ability to build the right HR roadmaps to be able to deploy our digital and human Employer Promise in the MEA Region.
This approach is perfectly in line with the goal expressed by Bruno Mettling: namely, no economic performance without social performance and vice versa. Thank you to all the teams and particularly those in HR."
