The position of Presales Engineer is to be filled within the Group Carrierd Partnership department to support the sales forces, from the qualification of the customer's needs to the signature of the contract and/or the purchase order.
- Reporting to the CES (Customer Experience & Strategy) Director, the technical sales engineer is in charge of pre-sales, qualification of needs, elaboration of the technical and operational offer and, if necessary, the presentation of the offer.
- You will be responsible for the technical and operational consistency of the solutions offered to customers in the areas of Internet, transmission, satellites and services for mobile operators
- You will lead the development of the architecture of operator client solutions in terms of technical aspects, services, costs and deadlines.
- You are the technical reference for the client, the sales and marketing teams and other entities
.The pre-sales engineer is called upon at the beginning of the client project to participate in the qualification of the opportunity.
- Draws up the technical part of the commercial offers based on technical knowledge of the field.
- Within the framework of a proposal, is in charge of the technical description of the solution and its presentation during a presentation.
- Finally, ensures the technical coherence of the proposal.
votre profil
You are a Telco Engineer or equivalent, and you wish to get involved from the pre-sales stage on complex strategic projects, multi BUs and access a high level of technical-commercial negotiation in an international context. You are autonomous in your technological choices which you know how to defend in front of the customer and internally,
- General engineer or equivalent experience and knowledge of telecoms (networks and services)
- Very good interpersonal skills
- Confident
- Ability to analyse and synthesise
- fFluent in English to conduct conference calls with clients and to read and write documents to clients (training is available if required)
- Proficiency in MSOffice Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio Power BI,) in client consulting or pre-sales engagement
- Complex project management skills within Orange
- Synergy 6 certification in project management would be a plus
- Leadership: ability to mobilise internal services to define a solution while ensuring adequate validation and documentation
- Strong motivation and results orientation with a focus on customer needs and proposal deliverables
- Fluent French as you will have to work with our French speaking African affiliates
