Purpose of the Job
QoS & CEM Systems Software Engineer, responsible for the development and implementation of the CEM (Customer Experience Management) system architecture. Maximize the rate at which data from probes, logs, agents and other sources is ingested and aggregated with exceptional cost-efficiency. Allows real-time analytics and visualizations for detecting network and QoS issues as soon as data from all sources is ingested.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and objectives
- Assist in designing and implementing CEM data management systems and processes.
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Develop and maintain databases, data warehouses, and data models
- Automate data analysis performed by SMEs to support business insights
- Identify and implement data governance and data security best practices
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data management, including on-premise big data tools, and propose innovative solutions
Job Specifications
Education
University degree, BSc, Computer and Systems Engineering
Experience
1-3 years in software engineering role with emphasis on data management
Skills and abilities
Excellent presentation skills
Deep understanding on progressive technologies
Very good English both written & spoken
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++
- Familiarity with data management concepts and techniques
- Strong knowledge of with databases like mySQL, Clickhouse and Redis
- Experience with on-premises big data administration, including technologies like Hadoop, Apache Spark, or Apache Kafka
- Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins)
- Experience with Windows and Linux servers administration
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Qlik) is a plus
