Purpose of the job
As a Business Analyst at Orange Egypt, you'll take the lead in evaluating the feasibility, estimating budgets, and planning consumer marketing projects. You'll provide guidance on the technical feasibility of proposed concepts and quick wins for implementation, while also exploring new features and supplier products. Your role will be crucial in identifying long-term technology solutions that pave the way for future marketing strategies.
Duties and responsibilities
- Lead the feasibility assessment, budget estimation, planning and delivery of the marketing projects.
- Assume an advisory role as a central point in commercial for technical expertise and guide market segments on the feasibility of the required concepts and the quick wins for implementation.
- Design optimum business/technical solutions for new products /services with the most efficient commercial approaches from the customer /operator standpoints.
- Explore and introduce new features, technology enablers that would pave the way for the future marketing propositions.
- Act as the focal point in consumer business unit for interfacing with technology for the technical enablers.
- Engage with suppliers, Orange group to explore newly introduced technologies, products/services.
- Brief and guide marketing segments on the available / new technical features that would facilitate products/services development and deliver outstanding customer experience.
- Prepare regular status reports for the managed enablers and ensure that updates are cascaded to the marketing segments/management.
- Develop best practices and tools for solutions design and validation.
- Build the knowledge base required for technical queries needed for new concepts creation.
- Provide commercial forecasts from market segments, for usage and traffic of new services and ensuring the alignment with technology on impacted platforms and capacity planning.
- Monitor competitive activities and provide recommendations for counter offers, improvements, usability, and relevancy to the industry/market.
- Participate in the suppliers assessment and selection, by validating the compliance to the commercial requirements.
- Responsible for validating all customer touch points and customer journeys to ensure best customer experience, and direct all relevant enhancements required across the different portfolios.
- Responsible for validating the final specifications, functionality and service acceptance tests throughout the implementation phase of product development.
- Manage, plan, request and execute all campaign types and guarantee execution as per design and capacity.
- Manage the roadmap for different Marketing applications in terms of capacity & functionality.
- Implement the enhancement & development needed on the different channels in correspondence to the market needs (capacity, functionality)
Job specification
Education
- Bachelor degree from a recognized university, preferably Computer Science or Engineering.
- Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is a plus.
Experience
Experienced Level (4-7 years of experience):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in products and services development cycle and processes.
- Minimum 5 years of experience is preferred in the telecommunication industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the service design of telecom products and services. (Preferred)
- Experience as PM is preferable (not a must).
