Purpose of the job

Developing competitive analysis, support in the business planning creation and strategic business cases.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Support in building and maintaining a planning model used in the preparation of the company business plan.
  • Monitor and forecast the strategic influence of new commercial programs on the company business plan, budget and any other commercial planning model.
  • Support the development and update of departmental database including statistics and trends that are necessary for the successful implementation of the business plan.
  • Align with stakeholders strategic changes and future plans, to integrate related costs within the business plan
  • Assist in forecasting cost elements for the business plan.
  • Ensure model captures changes that may occur in the business and key strategic initiatives.
  • Incorporate strategic roadmap agreed by management within the planning model.
  • Conduct meeting with management to agree final figures, incorporate changes needed.
  • Support in preparing the business plan presentation.
  • Analyze & forecast market sizing & Industry potential value
  • Conduct competitive analysis using all available official and intelligent sources of information to identify competitor strategies, strengths & weaknesses and propose Orange proactive responses
  •  Act as a competitive intelligence agent; highlighting and analyzing key performance gaps vs. competition and possible business reasons.
  • Produce to the management/board quarterly competitive analysis.
  • Update and improve the regular competitive analysis exercise.
  • Support in designing and building a financial model for the strategic business case.
  • Produce the business case, sensitivity analysis, risks, opportunities and recommendations.

Job specifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 Years Experience in the Same Function.

Skills and abilities

  • Very good English both spoken and written.

  • Very good computer skills.

  • Strong Customer Orientation.
  • Strong communication, listening & interpersonal skills

  • Flexibility & ability to work in a team.
  • Self-confident with professional behaviour & attitude.
  • High sense of time management.
