about the role
In a growing market, Orange Business is reinventing itself and has been developing its offers portfolio for years, shifting its center of gravity towards IT, the cloud, data and service integration, to transform itself into a services integrator.
The Information System and Technology entity (called CTIO), transversal entity within Orange Business, provides the best reusable components to meet customers and marketing & business teams requirements.
You work as an Information System transversal architect within the “Design Authority” entity of CTIO. You will join a team which was created in June 2019 to guide and support Orange Business B2B Information System (IS) modernization.
I am recruiting a SAFe Portfolio architect to support Orange Business IT renovation on a major Business & IS domain.
Your missions
Your main missions, within your SAFe Portfolio:
- Ensure architectural consistency and alignment with enterprise-wide architecture strategies.
- Define the functional, software and technical IS strategy & architecture.
- Design the IT of tomorrow with business & IS teams.
Your main activities
- You operate in a context of large scaled agility. You provide architectural guidance and governance at the Portfolio level, ensuring alignment with SAFe practices and principles:
- You collaborate with Enterprise Architects (at Orange Business level) to ensure that Portfolio-specific architectures fit within the broader architecture framework and Orange Business strategy.
- You work closely with Solution Architects to ensure each solution is aligned with the overall Portfolio roadmap and business goals.
- You animate a System Architects (from Delivery Value Streams) circle within your Portfolio.
- You define and maintain the portfolio target architecture, aligned with business objectives.
- You lead architecture initiatives within the Portfolio, with a focus on seamless integration across systems and services.
- You ensure Portfolio architecture is consistent with enterprise-wide architecture strategies and complies with architecture standards and best practices.
- You drive continuous improvement of the Portfolio architecture, adapting to changes in technology and business requirements.
- You facilitate cross-Portfolios collaboration with other Portfolio architects, ensuring that shared services, data, and technologies are leveraged effectively across portfolios.
- You bring your knowledge about external frameworks, standards and guidelines (TMF, Open Digital Architecture, …).
- You establish strategies for data architecture to uphold the precision, consistency, and security.
- You propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of systems, cut costs, and elevate the customer & Orange employee experience.
- You describe the transformation steps from the as-is architecture situation towards the target architecture to be reached.
- You develop and uphold architectural documentation.
- You keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry developments.
about you
Your qualifications:
- 18+ years total experience with 10+ relevant experience.
- Excellent client facing communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage architecture in a large, scaled agile environment.
- Strong experience with SAFe framework and Portfolio-level architecture. SAFe for Architect certified.
- Familiarity with modern architecture patterns, cloud technologies, and enterprise integration approaches.
- Proven experience in complex IT systems integration scopes.
- Understanding of B2B Telecommunications products and processes: proven experience with industry frameworks like TM Forum, Open Digital Architecture (ODA), and telecom-specific technologies is a plus.
- Expertise in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar is a plus.
- Knowledge of Information System domains.
- E2E Architecture (functional, software & technical).
- Working experience with architecture tools.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Autonomy.
