Purpose of the job

  • We are looking for a Security Presale Engineer to join our team in Orange Egypt, who will work together with the team in providing a secure valuable solutions meeting customers requirements. In collaboration with Sales Teams, your mission is to build customer relations and expand Orange Egypt ICT scope and portfolio of services with targeted customers and prospects. This mission includes key stakeholders relationships, contributing to joint sales planning, solution strategy definition, identification of potential opportunities, and deal qualification.
  • In your role you will be responsible for continuously looking into digital technology evolution/opportunities with the ambition to increase our customer intimacy and grow the business and value of services delivered by Orange Egypt

Duties and responsibilities

  • Participate in Lead qualification and definition of the bid strategy Mid to large, complex or non-standard sales projects.
  • Provide presales design support for both new and existing customers requiring Orange Solutions across different Cybersecurity domains with Sales Teams.
  • Support customer facing team members to complete solution design validation and costing activities.
  • Experience in sales support and design of a multi-vendor Security solutions (Such as: Firewalls, SWG, Endpoint Protection, Email Security, Anti-DDOS, WAF, SIEM, EDR, NDR, Threat Intelligence, Cloud Security, and Security Patch Management solutions), and Knowledge of OT/IoT security is highly desirable.
  • Ability to: engage at a detailed technical level either with Customers or Internal Team members.
  • Lead and Implement Proof of Concepts for Various Solutions.
  • Learn New technologies and gain hands on experience on these new Tech. Solutions.

Job specification

Education

  • Minimum BSc degree in telecommunications, electrical engineering, information technology and systems.
  • Certifications / accreditation in relevant ICT Solutions Domains.

Experience

  • The minimum years of Experience is 5 YRs (With Security Presales role proven experience).
  • Multiple (As much as possible) of the following technologies knowledge will be the first priority while selecting candidates: Firewalls, Endpoint Protection, EDR, NDR, SWG, DLP, Email Security, SASE, Load Balancer, WAF, IAM, PAM, Vulnerability Management, Patch Management, Application Security, IoT Security, Threat Intelligence, and SOC solutions (SIEM and SOAR)
  • Multiple security vendors.

  • Good strategic thinking-based knowledge in ICT solutions.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

  • Fluency in Arabic & English is a must (French is a plus)
  • Knowledge of the telecom sector.
  • Agile Mindset & Can do Attitude.
  • Strong time management, organizational and communication skills
