Purpose of the job

This role designs full software solutions required to automate transport network processes and meet business needs. Software engineering tech-lead defines best practices in the critical evaluation and selection and / or development of the software components and hardware requirements of the applications and data, and the development of the applications, including evaluation and selection of development methods, development processes, best practices and tools. Software engineering tech-lead is responsible for applications related quality, performance, availability, scalability, and integrity.

Work results will directly impact tens of Oranges business processes, & departments inside & outside the technology sector, & thousands of customers.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, and present custom solutions to any and all potential network problems.
  • Support the development of cross-functional business processes; identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend new approaches via technology enablement.
  • Manage projects, acting as technical advisor to internal and external parties.
  • Provide thought leadership in emerging technologies to the Solutions Architecture team
  • Design, describe, and manage the solution engineering in relation to specific business problems.
  • Find the best tech solution among all possible to solve the existing business problems.
  • Describing the structure, characteristics, behavior, and other aspects of software to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure that delivered software by development team follow the TM-Forum architecture and his architecture guidelines.
  • Defining features, phases, and solution requirements.
  • Providing specifications according to which the solution is defined, managed, and delivered.
  • Translate business functions and requirements to technical detailed.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in Telecommunications.
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in the software development field.
  • Strong understanding of TM-Forum Framework, BSS, OSS systems.
  • Hands-on experience in web and enterprise applications.
  • Excellent OOP concepts and common design patterns
  • Experience in programming Microsoft SQL Server database Objects using T-SQL.
  • Excellent knowledge of design patterns
