Purpose of the job

  • Setting the Security governance policy according to local regulations in compliance with the security Group requirements & Group security Standards.
  • Developing strategy & evolving Security Architecture to support business needs.
  • Leading Cyber Security professionals, consultants & managers, with a high level of expertise, in alignment with the group security policy in design, deployment and operational activities.
  • Developing Technical & Vendor Strategies ,policies and plans to engineer the needed architecture within optimum OPEX/CAPEX control, across Mobile / Fixed networks.
  • Ensuring the follow-up of audit recommendations on ITN side.
  • Providing guidance of security controls implementation especially in the field of personal data protection.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop annual departmental plans according to business objectives, in alignment with Orange strategy.
  • Develop and follow-up departmental objectives for Cyber Security Architecture to fulfill business needs, via needed S/W & H/W implementations.
  • Leading the overall design , development, Integration and implementation of Cyber Security systems and controls to mitigate security risks and maintain control over Technology risk map.
  • Build and manage the business relationship with various vendors and suppliers ensuring efficient vendor management.
  • Build and evolve all department standards, policies and procedures and ensuring the compliance with recent audit findings & Orange Group standards.
  • Develop and follow yearly CAPEX / OPEX budget to fulfill business needs.
  • Working with top management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning, ensuring alignment across all involved business units.
  • Leading the Cyber Security assurance and ensure compliance with governance entities and National Security Entities, with full abidance to local laws and regulations.
  • Develop strategies and follow-up the Technical controls to enhance the protection of personal data across ITN systems.
  • Assume responsibility for all internal and external ITN audit, acting as SPOC from Technology side, with close follow up on needs actions as well as full management of audit activities.
  • Ensure compliance with Cyber Security operations guidelines and managing its functions either local or outsourced , with full accountability on associated KPIs.
  • Definition, development and implementation of the Cybersecurity roadmap for ITN and Digital services.

People Management

  • Ensures the availability of trained Cyber Security skills needed to fulfill business needs and manage strategies to mitigate risks of turnover.

  • Interview and select direct reports and validate hiring decisions for the department.

  • Provide coaching and request needed training for direct reports ensuring continuous individual development.

  • Ensure a healthy working environment for the department employees through focusing on team building and motivation initiatives.

  • Conduct regular performance and competency evaluations for direct reports while delivering constant constructive feedback for higher achievements and further development.

  • Guiding the talent identification and development processes and approving hiring and firing requests

Job specification

Education

  • B.Sc. Electrical Engineering: Electronics and Communication or suitable graduate degree. MSc is a plus.

Experience

  • 15-20 years of experience in Cyber Security field, with minimum 10 years of management experience in Cyber Security field in Telecom or banking sectors.

  • Very Good technical background in Cyber Security , IT , Telecom and digital / Fintech.

  • Knowledge of S/W , H/W, Development , Cloud infrastructure is a MUST
