Purpose of the job
To engage and partner with customers at different levels to drive growth in Orange Smart Cities domain by creating value & bringing state of the art solutions to our customers. Also, establish smart cities concept across gated communities management & developers while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers & partners.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the smart cities, targeting developers, gated communities & complexes.
- Identify & develop new initiatives to improve the range of smart solutions (verticals/use cases) portfolio.
- Support sales teams, by designing smart city solutions that meet customers requirements and build corresponding BCs and proposals that balance value to the customer and profitability to Orange and ensure competitiveness.
- Maintain visibility of the competition marketing strategies & monitor trends in the business environment within IoT & smart cities domain.
- Stay up to date with trends & use cases in smart cities, ensuring that solutions meet current and future market demands.
- Review & respond to smart cities RFPs and define solution characteristics needed to comply with the RFP requirements.
- Enquire with multiple vendors to find the adequate solutions.
- Acting as a trusted advisor & consultant, guiding clients on the importance of IoT use cases, highlighting its benefits, short- & long-term ROIs.
- Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations, articulating complex solutions in simple, business-relevant terms.
- Support on-site assessments / site surveys if needed.
- Lead proof of concept (POC) implementations to showcase the feasibility and benefits of smart cities whenever needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring that the latest technologies are incorporated into solutions.
- Collaborate with project management & delivery teams to ensure seamless transition from presales to project execution, providing technical oversight where necessary.
- Provide necessary training to AMs on the new solution.
Job specification
Education
- BSc. of Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent.
- MBA is a plus
Experience
- 3-5 years of experience

- Strong interpersonal, social, presentation and communication skills
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing priorities
- Ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles
- Motivated self-starter, process-oriented with a high attention to detail and sense of urgency
