Purpose of the Job

  • Provide technical leadership and expertise, coaching and mentoring of Office automation & collaboration staff consists of infrastructure & messaging, Virtualization, Systems Admins and desktop teams.
  • Responsible to provide the necessary Services, ensuring the highest level of customer service, advocacy and support for over 5000 staff in several locations and distributed infrastructure including all Mobinil outlets.
  • Developing and enhancing the IT infrastructure systems .
  • Administrating and maintaining information technology systems, of all the Intel based platform servers.
  • Providing IT operations functions to office productivity tools for the organizations standard hardware, and software solutions..

Main Responsibilities 

  • In cooperation with different Technology Functions, local operations staff and key users, provides strategic, budgeting and disaster recovery/business continuity planning to offices and staff in multiple operating, business and functional units.
  • Responsible for local inventory maintenance and software license management.
  • Monitors security compliance in accordance with Technology Info Security standards, policies and procedures.
  • Serves as the technical and communications expert in liaison to and from stakeholders and office key users for technical Solutions, initiatives, assessments, etc.
  • Responsible for procurement, installation and life-cycle maintenance of IT hardware and software
  • Provides new staff with all the necessary tools PCs, Network Accounts, to ensure max productivity.
  • Responsible for local IT vendor, contract and outsourcing management.
  • Responsible for monitoring data backups for servers to ensure that they are completed on a regular basis.
  • Analyze situations, evaluate alternatives, and implement solutions within standards (where applicable).
  • Interpret guidelines and analyze factual information to adapt or modify processes in response to changing circumstances.
  • Duties may require non-routine analysis, research and follow-through.
  • May act as a resource of expertise to others to solve technical problems.
  • Plan, organize, and evaluate the activities and operations of the IT office automation applications and systems
  • Assign, co-ordinate and review the technical work of the team or project teams
  • Oversee development of staff competence in required areas
  • Participate directly in the design, development and inspection of technical projects or in the engineering work of the departmental new solution.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for computer systems operations and development
  • Recruit and supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel and oversee their professional development and training.
  • Responsible for team skills and training
  • Responsible of the IT infrastructure operations and support, if the Intel based environment at corporate level.
  • Develop the office automation and applications strategy to ensure maximum utilization.
  • Ensure annual improvement in the operations, productivity and efficiency of the support structure
  • Maintain the quality control standards.

Job Specifications 

Education

Bachelor degree in Computer engineering.

Experience 

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in computer systems development and administration.
  • Relevant experience at least 5 years in similar position with management skills.
