Description
The Data Quality team is integrated within the Customer Journey Factory entity, which is responsible for orchestrating, operating, and optimizing communication solutions for our clients, by inter-operating with their network, video, equipment solutions, or by integrating our solutions with market partners. As our services and customer network continue to digitize, data has become a major component of our activities. Data quality has become essential and contributes to improving our performance in various areas: operational, customer satisfaction, and financial.
Mission
As part of our policy to strengthen the quality of the Information System within GDO, we are looking for a "Data Quality" Project Manager. In this role, you will act as an expert and project manager with the objective of verifying the completeness and integrity of data, serving our business and clients.
Responsibilities
- Extract data from different sources.
- Write SQL scripts to perform DDL and DML operations.
- Perform data analysis and identify data issues.
- Communicate with the necessary audience to fix data issues.
- Define and document data correction procedures.
- Ensure consistency of data models and data availability across different tools that are used at Orange Business Services.
- Follow-up on data corrections and ensure integrity of data across systems.
- Maintain scripts and tools developed and provide support to users.
- Contribute to the organization and the animation of the data community.
- Create reports or extractions to provide a status of assets across their lifecycle.
- Reframe the problem with the requester and identify business stakes and impacts in a functional approach when taking on a project.
- Develop and plan the end-to-end data analysis approach in liaison with the business.
- Translate a business problem into an IT problem.
- Synthesize the production process of the service concerned by the issue (Identification of applications).
- Model the data flow in the Information System of the service concerned by the issue (identification of data to be analyzed).
- Facilitate working groups involving Process experts, Business Analysts, IT, and operational staff to analyze and identify the source of the problem and its solution (manual, batch, process modification, IS).
- Define the correction procedure and present its implementation and value to the business.
- Manage the correction and verify its effectiveness with operational or IT teams.
- Analyse data through queries in the Information System (Data Lake or open data).
- Ability to query directly using the querying interfaces of the data repository, on structured or unstructured data repositories (Webix, PowerBI, DSS…).
- Ability to cross different types of data repositories.
- Develop detection and measurement tools (KPIs) if necessary.
- Act as Product Owner on certain assignments.

Profile
• At least 7 years of work experience as Data Analyst or similar position
• A university degree in an IT related field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and planning skills
• Ease of communicating with different audiences and build rapport
• Ability to identify and document risks
• Have an open mindset to propose data process improvements
• Be a team player
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and French, both written and spoken
• Ability to work cross-functionally with strong interpersonal skills.
• Work methodically and plan activities in project mode.
• Develop a cross-functional vision for a set of processes/journeys or business domains.
• Reframe the need and identify the explicit or implicit needs of internal clients.
• Possess good knowledge of business, processes, and associated products to understand the interaction between major stakeholders and project challenges.
• Client scope includes French clients (scope 3) and French clients with international sites (scope 2).
• Interface with IT and Business stakeholders in the relevant areas with the help of mentors/contributors.
• Autonomy in identifying, processing, and analyzing data. Appreciate the sensitivity of data.
• Quickly and independently acquire knowledge, and ensure awareness techniques.
• Adapt to new software applications.
• Communicate with French and international counterparts (written and oral).
• Share with the entire Data Quality team, be proactive, and value collaboration.
• Good SQL skills
• High proficiency in Excel, VBA, and experience in performing data analysis using Excel functions
