Junior, CVM & Data Analytics

Purpose of the job

As a data Analyst you'll work in a Big Data environment, to turn data in corperate data lake into information and insights that lead to data driven business decisions.

You will be working on collecting and organizing large sets of data to look for patterns and useful information. The candidate will play a vital role in mining, auditing, testing, researching and visualizing corporate data sets. You will be working closely with the data engineering team to build the infrastructure required for the data analysis activities and with the business consumers and subject matter experts to drive smart data driven solutions and initiatives.

Duties and responsibilities

• Identifying and expanding data sources in the data lake

• Cleaning, converting and analyzing the data for the purpose of finding insights and making conclusions

• Presenting data in graphs, charts, tables, etc and designing and developing data models for collecting data
• Use available data visualization tools like QlikView to deliver self service BI tools to business.
• Work closely with business users to understand data nature and find new ways to deliver analytics
• Monitor and optimize the performance of data mining systems.
• Keep track of trends, patterns and correlations in case of complex data sets
• Collaborate with data architects, modelers and IT team members on project goals

Job specification

Education

• Bachelor degree of Engineering in Computer Systems, or Computer Science.

Experience

• 0 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• with database management and business intelligence tools is a plus
• Basic understanding of different scripting techniques and task scheduling
• Good understanding of computer programing fundamentals, data structures and algorithms
• Intermediate knowledge of high level OOP languages; ex: C#, Java, etc.

Skills and abilities

• Very good English both written & spoken.
• Good computer skills.
• Past experience in telecom operators and service providers is preferred
• Good knowledge of database systems and BI solutions
• Good programming and debugging skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Ability to administer different hardware and operating system solutions.
