about the role

 

  • Solution Design & Architecture:
    • Lead the architectural design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow SPM and PPM solutions.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
    • Provide high-level architectural oversight and support across multiple ServiceNow implementations, ensuring consistency and integration with other modules.
  • Service Portfolio Management (SPM):
    • Design and optimize the Service Portfolio Management (SPM) processes to ensure alignment with business needs.
    • Lead the implementation of ServiceNow’s Service Portfolio, ensuring the management of services, cost models, and value delivery.
    • Drive the integration of SPM with other ServiceNow modules (e.g., Incident, Change, and Knowledge Management).
  • Project Portfolio Management (PPM):
    • Architect and implement the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) module to support internal project management processes.
    • Manage project intake, resource allocation, tracking, budgeting, and risk management in alignment with the company’s goals.
    • Ensure the efficient and effective management of project lifecycles, from initiation through to closure.
  • Customization and Configuration:
    • Customize and configure ServiceNow applications and workflows to align with internal business processes and requirements.
    • Integrate ServiceNow PPM and SPM with other systems and tools as necessary.
    • Maintain and enhance ServiceNow platform features, ensuring that the system remains up-to-date with best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership:
    • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure that ServiceNow SPM and PPM implementations are aligned with business objectives.
    • Provide leadership and guidance to technical teams on complex configuration, troubleshooting, and process implementation tasks.
    • Act as a mentor for junior developers, providing technical direction and support.
  • Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting:
    • Monitor and optimize the performance of ServiceNow SPM and PPM modules, ensuring responsiveness and scalability.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the ServiceNow platform, particularly related to the SPM and PPM functionalities.
  • Documentation & Best Practices:
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, architectural diagrams, and implementation guidelines.
    • Establish and promote best practices for ServiceNow development, configuration, and implementation within the organization.
  • Training & Knowledge Transfer:
    • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions for internal teams, ensuring that they are equipped with the skills to maintain and optimize the ServiceNow platform.
    • Provide training materials and facilitate workshops for end-users on ServiceNow SPM and PPM processes and features.


about you

  • Experience:
    • 7-10 years of Software Development and architecture experience.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience with ServiceNow, including at least 3 years of experience focusing on Service Portfolio Management (SPM) and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules.
    • Proven experience in the design, implementation, and optimization of ServiceNow solutions, with a deep focus on SPM and PPM.
    • Strong experience with ServiceNow’s ITSM modules and how they integrate with SPM and PPM.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, including data modeling, workflows, business rules, and scripting (JavaScript,…).
    • Proficient in configuring and implementing ServiceNow modules such as PPM, SPM, and other related applications.
    • ServiceNow certification is a plus
    • Experience in modeling tools (Enterprise Architect, Visio, or equivalent).
    • Deep understanding of the system development life cycle, project management approaches, requirements, design, and test techniques.
    •     Experience in Data modeling and design.
    • Strong understanding of ITIL, Agile, and other project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Prince2).
    • Hands-on experience with integrations between ServiceNow and third-party tools, including but not limited to project management, financial systems….
    • Familiarity with ServiceNow App Engine, Performance Analytics, and Reporting functionalities.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • B.Sc. Communication/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience in driving the adoption of ServiceNow across a large enterprise environment.
  • Good knowledge of Architecture frameworks like TOGAF.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and IT operations.
  • French Language is a plus
