OINIS’s mission is to conceive, plan, broadcast, display and operate international networks and long distance backbone : transmission, IP, POPs, and the services ( CDN, Voice, IOT, SDWAN…)

The IT Direction of OINIS is in charge of the urbanism, development and run of all the technical Information System of OINIS (OSS, SOM, ROM), business Information System for the International Wholesale activities (BSS, CRM, portal, self-care, e-shop, billing, trading, BI), as well as of all the information system supporting the OWI sales and Operations ( tools for production, change IT, incident management IT, communication IT). ¿
IT Direction will define & implement a native digital strategy to meet OWI & OINIS challenges in the evolution of virtualized networks and a revisited customer/partner experience with automation enablers to be able to launch products to market quickly both for B2B and wholesale perimeter.
about you
key responsibilities
- Lead and manage transversaly all the India-based OINIS IT operational team and responsible for Business Intelligence to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
- Serve as the main bridge between the India-based teams and OINIS IT leadership and business lines, ensuring alignment on strategic objectives, operational goals, and priorities
- Work closely with OINIS IT leadership to identify and address any gaps or challenges in service delivery and performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders from all parts of OINIS to gather and prioritize requirements, fostering and maintaining transversal interlocks as efficient as possible
- Monitor and report on the operational performance of OINIS IT teams in India, implementing necessary actions to resolve any issues and enhance productivity
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase service quality for internal stakeholders
- Ensure adherence to OINIS IT policies, procedures, and best practices during the implementation of IT projects
- Maintain a proactive approach to identify potential system risks, security vulnerabilities, and service interruptions, ensuring the India teams are equipped to respond quickly and effectively
- Act as a liaison between the India OINIS IT teams and OINIS IT, providing status updates and gathering feedback on IT-related matters
- Assist in identifying India cost-saving opportunities and ensuring resources are utilized effectively
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage staffing, budgeting, and other administrative functions related to the India OINIS IT teams
- Oversee talent acquisition strategies for India-based OINIS IT teams, ensuring recruitment aligns with departmental needs and business objectives
- Ensure ongoing professional development and training programs for team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities in the OINIS IT domain
- Oversee the management and optimization of the Business Intelligence (BI) platform using Power BI to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Responsible for overseeing the development, integration, and governance of BI platforms, particularly Power BI, ensuring data quality, security, and alignment with business objectives
- Ensure that Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models are aligned with business needs and provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights to key stakeholders\
- Collaborate with business users to define and refine BI reporting requirements, ensuring the BI platform supports organizational goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Oversee the development and deployment of Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring consistency, security, and quality of data visualizations
- Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are upheld within the Power BI environment
Knowledge And Abilities
- Knowledge on Phyton, Java, BPMN, Lowcode, enterprise architecture, Open Digital Architecture
- Understanding of the industry, organizational trends, and the specific domain in which the product/project operates
- Ability to lead and manage teams fostering collaboration between analysts, developers, business stakeholders, and leadership
- Coaching and mentoring abilities to build strong teams, help develop their skills, and ensure team members are aligned with organizational goals
- Conflict resolution skills, ensuring teams work effectively in a cross-functional and potentially cross-cultural environment
- Familiarity with Agile principles and practices using frameworks like Scrum or Kanban for iterative development and deployment
- Ability to think strategically with strong problem-solving skills
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Business Intelligence Concepts, knowledge of BI architectures, including integration of data from multiple sources, data governance, and ensuring data quality across the platform
- Proven ability to translate insights into actionable recommendations that drive business decisions and improve performance.
- Familiarity with data visualization principles and the ability to present data in clear, impactful ways that support decision-making.
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly, considering various factors such as risks, dependencies, and constraints
- Aptitude to identify issues, analyze problems, and propose effective solutions to overcome obstacles in product/project development
- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Dataiku, Qlik) is beneficial, but Power BI expertise is essential.
Education, Qualifications, Certifications, And Experience
- Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in a relevant field (such as an MBA in Information Technology, or a Master’s in IT Management) is preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is highly preferred but not required
- Leadership experience: Managing BI teams or cross-functional teams in a BI context, and liaising with stakeholders from other business units to ensure that BI solutions meet business needs
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years focused on Business Intelligence, reporting, and data analytics
- Strong understanding of Business Intelligence concepts (e.g., data modeling, reporting, dashboards, analytics) and how they align with business strategy and decision-making
- ITIL Foundation (or higher)
