about the role
The role of the Security Engineer is to provide second line support and act as an escalation point for our team in our busy Security Operations Centre, providing day to day support for our customers. It is essential that you can work under pressure and possess excellent customer service and communication skills as well as having a logical and methodical approach to troubleshooting. Your key responsibilities as a L2 Security Engineer will include:
about you
Educational Qualifications:
- B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, communications or electronics engineering
- CCNA security certified.
Professional Requirements:
- At least 2 years of IT/Network security technical experience
- You must have solid experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, F5, Cisco ASA and/or Fortinet and preferably other vendors including Ivanti (Pulse Secure).
- You must have solid experience in an IT service role, where you have been required to support and troubleshoot network security environments
- You must have the ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing at all levels
- You must have the ability to work as part of a team or independently with minimal supervision

Orange Cyberdefense is the world's leading cyber security services and solutions provider, and we are currently looking for a Security Engineer to join our SOC in Cairo who has extensive experience with Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco ASA and/or Fortinet, knowledge of Ivanti (Pulse Secure) or F5 is a plus.
