about the role

The Project Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the schedule, budget and details of a given task are well organised. They communicate with various departments to keep everyone informed about any changes to the project plan. In addition, they organise reporting, plan meetings and provide updates to customers and other members of the project management team.

Mission based reponsibilties The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the project management team in the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of projects. This role assists in defining project scope, developing and tracking project plans, and ensuring the smooth transition of projects to operations. The Project Coordinator will follow the relevant methodology applied to the project cycle. In case of Agile or Hydbrid methodologies, the Project Coordinator will endeavour to adopt agile principles to create value for the project. The Project Coordinator role may also be engaeged in pre-sales stages to support with activities that contribute to the proposals. The Project Coordinatorr will also play a vital role in undertaking project activities to ensure seamless service integration of partners into the solution being delivered.

Contribute to the development, tracking and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and milestones. Collect and organise project data and information for effective decision-making. Assist with tracking project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Support resource allocation and tracking, ensuring project resources are utilized effectively. Assist with quality assurance tasks, including process documentation and quality control checks. Identify and report project risks and issues, assisting with the development of mitigation plans. Communicate project updates and progress to stakeholders as required. Support benefits tracking and reporting. Ensuring that contractual obligations have been met. Document lessons learned throughout the project life cycle and share with team members. Support the project handover process, including the preparation of documentation and training materials, ensuring a smooth transition to operations.. Ensures clarity of objectives and stakeholder engagement to the project and solution. Deliverables are achieved within the agreed timelines to meet customer objectives. Navigate the project throughout by providing inputs that enable right decisions. Ensure compliance to organisaional standards and avoids non-conformance risks. Avoid and minimise deviation to scope outside defined change control processes ensuring project success is maintained. Ensures solution delivered is free from any issues and customer achieves the desired level of satisfaction Direct focus on financial aspects, which is crucial for understanding the cost and benefits of the project. Focus on identifying and measuring the positive outcomes of the project. Ensure that agreements and contracts are fulfilled, which is essential for realizing the expected benefits. Regular and effective communication of project updates, progress, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with project objectives.

Generic for Project Coordinator role Knowledge and abilities Basic understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Some basic knowledge of project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Taïga or ServiceNow. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines. Basic understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and financial reporting. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex information to a diverse audience. Education, qualifications, and certifications Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business adminitsration, management or engineering. Professional Project Management (PMP) Synerygy Foundation & Synergy Practitioner Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer facing project environment of which at least 1 to 2 years of experience in a project support role Language skills: Fluent English required, both spoken and written
