about the role
The Change Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful planning, coordination, and execution of change and release activities for fully managed security services and solutions supported for the customer. The role ensures that changes are effectively managed, and releases are deployed seamlessly while maintaining the stability, integrity, and security of the customer’s environment.
Responsibilities:
Change Management:
Own the Change Management process and activities for the customer.
Validate customer Change Requests to ensure alignment with policies and business needs.
Arrange and lead the Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings to review non-standard changes.
Schedule and prioritize changes, ensuring the availability of required resources (human, hardware, or software/configurations).
Provide clear communication and guidelines for change preparation to build customer confidence.
Ensure the successful implementation of changes and perform post-change reviews for effectiveness and efficiency.
Define and maintain a list of pre-authorized changes for efficient processing.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in the Change Management process within the customer’s domain.
Manage related programs, such as Change Management Excellence and Service Improvement Plans (SIPs).
Review and analyze Change Management process performance and KPIs to identify improvement opportunities.
Another important part of this role is Change /project tasks coordination role:
The role is responsible for the execution and outcome of coordinated projects within Operations, reporting to the DSOC Team Manager and working closely with DSOC Engineers, Team Leaders, Project Managers and TIO to ensure the successful delivery of coordinated projects.
Coordination is performed by administering the creation- and follow-up of projects within the Operations project management tool and a big part of the daily work is to ensure requested-/pipeline-/ongoing projects are updated and can be performed according to defined timelines and onboarding capacity.
Coordinator can help to handover some projects to SOC operations on some internal specific demand.
Key Responsibilities - Strategic
· Manage the governance of the coordinated projects.
Key Responsibilities - Tactical
· Own regular requested-/pipeline-/ongoing project meeting reviews (invite, document).
· Follow up on projects within Operations and associated activities.
· Actively validate project tasks progress.
· Steer project organization and task management where improvements are needed to complete a successful project.
· Resource planning related activities for coordinated project tasks.
Key Responsibilities - People Management
· Ensure Project Managers , TIO and DSOC engineers are assigned to new project tasks within the team as required.
Key Performance Indicators
In addition to individual objectives set by the manager which are reviewed as part of individual performance management reviews ,has the following KPIs:
· Project tasks delivered in accordance with decided timeline.
· Project tasks escalations to senior management.
about you
Education/Certification:
Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Telecommunications degree.
ITIL V3/V4 Foundation.
Project management certifications
Experience:
3+ years of experience in same or equivalent role.
Strong understanding of networks and network security technologies.
Proven experience in managing both Change management process and change coordination in complex IT environments.
Project management experience and certification's
Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Excellent planning, organizational, and project management skills.
Exceptional communication, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Professional Skills:
Customer-oriented attitude with proactive problem-solving.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment.
Fluent in English (spoken and written).
