Tasks and responsibilities of a Business Manager 
In the role of Business Manager, you will lead one of our customer-facing Service Delivery teams, responsible for delivering IT infrastructure services to one of our largest customers in Sweden. This is a key position with a strong focus on people management, service delivery, business and customer development.

In this role, you will be responsible for both the customer and the team reporting to you, a group of experienced professionals in roles such as Service Managers, Technical Account Managers and Technical Engineers. You will be instrumental in guiding the team toward shared goals, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring conditions for success. As Business Manager you are crucial in building and maintaining a strong relationship with the customer, understanding and ensuring our delivery.

For this role, we are looking for a manager who is eager to take both the team and the customer to the next level. To thrive in the role, we believe you are someone who combines a proactive and service-minded approach with a strong commercial mindset. You recognize the value of your team acting as Trusted Advisors and understand that real impact comes from collaboration. As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with senior leadership and contribute to broader business development discussions as part of the Swedish Management team.

Key areas of responsibilities:

Customer development

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationship with the customer to ensure a clear understanding of needs and successful delivery.

  • Encourage a Trusted Advisor mentality in the team and drive a proactive mindset.

People Management

  • Managing a team delivering services to customers, following up, supporting and proactively working to remove obstacles for success in delivery.

  • Performance Management and Quality Assurance: Having 1-1s, providing feedback, and ensuring team members perform and thrive.

  • Ensure the team has the right competencies to meet current and future needs by leveraging existing talents effectively, and leading recruitment efforts to attract and hire the right team members.

Business development

  • Proactively contribute to the customer’s long-term development and growth by identifying opportunities beyond current delivery and fostering a strategic collaboration.

  • Ensure good collaboration with the other business areas and departments for a successful delivery to customers.

  • Continuously driving the development and improvement of the delivery together

For this position you should have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in management and people management.

  • 5 years of experience from IT operations and ITIL

  • Experience from client facing roles

  • Skills to coordinate a range of technical deliveries to customers

  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken Swedish and English

  • Experience of a sales oriented role is a plus
