about the role
Main activities of the role
As the Data analyst - Processor, you will be responsible for the following activities:
- Extract data from different sources
- Write SQL scripts to perform DDL and DML operations.
- Perform data analysis and identify data issues.
- Plan and coordinate data correction tasks.
- Communicate and follow-up with the necessary audience to fix data issues.
- Define and document data correction procedures.
- Ensure consistency of data models and data availability across different tools that are used at Orange Business.
- Follow-up on data corrections and ensure integrity of data across systems.
- Maintain scripts and tools developed and provide support to users.
- Contribute to the organisation and the animation f the data community.
- Create reports and extractions to provide a status of assets across their lifecycle.
- Automating manual data quality checks and routines.
- Apply AI in data analysis and data correction recommendations.
about you
You recognise yourself in the following profile:
- At least 3 years of work experience as Data Analyst or similar position
- A university degree in an IT related field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Statistics minor computer science
- Good SQL skills
- High proficiency in Excel, VBA, and experience in performing data analysis using Excel functions
- Ability to work cross-functionally, strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work methodically and plan activities in project mode.
- Be autonomous in identifying, processing, and analyzing data.
- Appreciate the sensitivity of data.
- Quickly and independently acquire knowledge, know and ensure monitoring techniques.
You have the following soft skills:
- Good analytical, organisational, and planning skills.
- Ease of communicating with different audiences and build rapport.
- Ability to identify and document risks.
- Have an open mindset to propose data process improvements.
- Be a team player.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and French, both written and spoken.
