about the role
This position will be responsible for Continuous Improvement (CI), ServiceNow automation, and optimization within Cybersecurity Operations. The role focuses on enhancing ServiceNow workflows, automating manual processes, and integrating ITSM/ITOM functionalities to drive efficiency. Key responsibilities include customizing ServiceNow modules, developing automation scripts, optimizing incident and change management workflows, and implementing integrations to streamline cybersecurity operations. The position plays a critical role in improving operational agility, reducing response times, and enhancing service quality through automation and innovation.
Key Activities / Deliverables
Develop and automate ServiceNow workflows to streamline incident, change, and request management.
Lead Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives by identifying and automating repetitive or manual processes.
Customize and enhance ITSM/ITOM modules (e.g., Incident, Change, CMDB, Discovery) to support cybersecurity operations.
Implement and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub with external tools (e.g., monitoring, alerting).
Design dashboards and reports to improve visibility, operational tracking, and data-driven decision-making.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored SNOW solutions aligned with business needs.
Ensure platform stability and compliance with ServiceNow best practices and security standards.
about you
Required Skills:
ServiceNow Development: Proficient in scripting with JavaScript and Glide API within the ServiceNow platform.
Workflow Automation: Experience with Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, and UI Actions.
ITSM/ITOM Expertise: Strong understanding of Incident, Problem, Change Management, CMDB, Discovery, and Event Management modules.
API Integration: Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP APIs for system integrations.
CI/CD & DevOps Mindset: Familiar with ServiceNow updates, release management, and automation of deployment processes.
Analytical Thinking: Ability to identify improvement opportunities and design scalable automation solutions.
Collaboration & Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Process Orientation: Knowledge of ITIL best practices; ITIL 4 Foundation certification preferred.
Security Awareness: Understanding of cybersecurity operational needs and governance requirements.
Preferred Certifications:
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is must
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is highly preferred.
