about the role
Roles and Responsibilities
Maintain equipment based on SOP’s and ensure immediate escalation to competent authority in order to ensure uptime.
Technical Operational Role: Maintain Standard ( OEMs –Fortigate, Checkpoint ,Cisco) based on SOP’s and ensure immediate escalation to competent authority in order to ensure uptimes.
Technical Consultancy Role : Ability to handle Technical Consultant role for Global large scale projects on the above said OEM Security products and technology.
Maintain equipment based on SOP’s and ensure immediate escalation to competent authority in order to ensure uptime.
Key Spoc
- Critical & Major Incident management
- Change & Operation Project Management
- Patch & Release Management
- Capacity Management
- Knowledge management (KEDB)
- Documentation, MIS and Reporting
- Getting resolution from Third parties, Vendors and suppliers for fault
- Effective handling of Technical Escalations
- Ensure Service Delivery as per agreed SOW / SLA
- Provide support to L3 for RFO/ RCA (Root cause analysis) and Preventive maintenance, Participate in assess Risk and Impact.
- Take initiatives in learning, certifications & evaluating new Networking Technology & Tools
- Driving Technical Knowledge Transfers & awareness session on best practices within team by proper training session. Mentor & Hand hold L1, JE Teams.
about you
- BE/ Diploma with required experience in Telecom
- Fortigate NSE-3 certified, CCSA
- 5-6 plus years of experience in NOC support services( relevant exp at least 4 years).
- Rich Hands-on experience of implementing of respective solutions OEM such as Fortigate, Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper
- Good understanding of various firewalls, VPN’s and security devices
- Experience in syslogs monitoring & analysis.
- Understanding of Routing Protocols
- Excellent NOC Troubleshooting, analyzing & managing the critical Incidents, Problem tickets with out of the box thought process
- Experience in designing POA for complex Change/Project.
- Good knowledge in preparing RFO, RCA’s, documentation, Knowledge Bank.
