about the role
Set targets and ensure growth within the country operation above local market growth rate.
Ensure optimum allocation of resources to existing and new targeted customers, utilising appropriate « bid / no bid » sales tools.
Direct forecasting activities in line with corporate reporting standards.
Ensure individual sales targets are set, in agreement with functional Reporting lines.
Monitor and support individuals in their development of sales plans and activities and in their building a pipeline of suspects and prospects.
Review and approve all proposals made by salesmen in line with DOA levels and appropriate policies
Meet with key clients, assist sales staff with development and maintenance of relationships and contribute to the negotiation and closure of major sales opportunities.
Monitor sales cycles from contract signature to DSO’s (Debt Outstanding)
Together with local Finance, ensure accurate and timely pay-out of Sales commissions as per the sales compensation plan rules, guidelines and process
about you
• Bachelor degree in a related field
• 15+ years of experience in Sales
• Technical Must haves:
- Industry knowledge
- Displays seasoned, strategic and hands-on knowledge of the ICT industry in Saudi Arabia
- Proven and compelling experience in setting up a product and services offering and in developing the appropriate market strategies
- Hands-on experience and success track record and in depth understanding on how to develop a telecom and service business aimed at multinationals, service-rich large local accounts and big, multinationally active medium sized enterprises
- Capable of understanding the business strategic context and developing structures and processes to support the specific goals and objectives necessary to achieve success
- Ability to generate revenue streams, with a strong understanding of what it takes to conduct business successfully in Saudi Arabia
- Capable of adapting his/her sales strategy to reach out to a wide variety of customers
- Ability to propose, explain, justify and implement commercial principles to other communities of interest
- Ability to develop people; this includes selecting, giving feedback and providing appropriate rewards
- Ability to attract and retain the talent required to implement and drive forward ambitious plans
- Proven track-record of being able to manage conflicts within a team
- Ability to carry out constructive performance appraisals including agreement on future expectations
- Prepares plans to help team members to achieve goals
- Supports non performers in a professional manner

- Experience of negotiating complex large value contracts
- Ability to provide visible and charismatic leadership in order to link the team vision and mission of Orange Business Services
