Orange Cyberdefense is the expert cyber security business unit of the Orange Group, providing security consulting, solutions and services to organisations around the globe. We strive to protect freedom and build a safer digital society. We are looking for a Managing Principal to join our team in the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to join our dynamic legal team for a 12-month period, to navigate the legal landscape of Cybersecurity!
The Contract Manager will work directly with role is a member of the Orange Cyberdefense legal team, reporting to the International Affairs Senior Legal Counsel and working closely with Global Procurement in securing compliance of Orange Cyberdefense’s vendors and partners’ contracts with European and/or international legal and regulatory obligations applicable to the cybersecurity business. In particular, recently issued European regulations require compliance throughout Orange Cyberdefense’s supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the Orange Cyberdefense Legal and Global Procurement teams in implementing the global regulatory engagement strategy while keeping track of compliance by vendors and partners.
- Managing existing and new contracts, and any associated documents, with Orange Cyberdefense’s vendors and partners to ensure full compliance with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to the cybersecurity business.
- For contracts signed by Orange group or BuyIn, collaborate with the relevant sourcing teams to make sure that existing and new contracts full comply with legal and regulatory obligations applicable to the cybersecurity business.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information for contract management in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Responding promptly, with the support of Legal when needed, to legal requests and questions from Global Procurement and other business units, summarizing and communicating regulatory requirements in a clear, concise, succinct and business-friendly manner.
- Assisting Orange Cyberdefense country legal counsels in rolling out Orange Cyberdefense purchasing policies.
What we expect from you
- Experience negotiating and managing both external and intra-group sourcing contracts.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and compliance management systems.
- Qualified to practice in an EU jurisdiction or in the UK.
- Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams (across the legal department, Global Procurement and other business units).
- Fluent in English and ideally in French.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical issues and to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, providing sound advice under tight deadlines.
