In a fast-changing and challenging digital environment, the Security Solutions Engineering Team is seeking a Security Solutions Engineer specialising in Next Generation Firewalls (NGFW) and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) at Orange CyberDefense. Your core responsibility is to design, develop, and implement advanced security solutions. You play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of cybersecurity measures for our clients.
Your roles and responsibilities will be as follows:
- Design and develop Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) e.g., Zscaler, Prisma Access, and and Netskope security solutions for Orange CyberDefense customers.
- In lab design and testing of overall architecture and components.
- Develop and execute test plans.
- Perform systems integration across multiple platforms
- Provide Operations, Pre-sales, Sales, and Marketing with the appropriate support, documentation and training and lead them during the rollout and deployment
- Perform operational-like tasks during pilot phases to assist operations.
- Test and validate new features for customised and generic solutions in the lab based on specifications.
- Design and test complex customer security solutions and architectures.
- Work closely with Customer Solutions, Professional Services, Service Delivery, and Operations to design and support security solutions and, on critical strategic occasions, directly with Orange's customers.
- Provide Level 3 operational support for security teams.
- Identify and raise risks to management regarding the current service and future enhancements when necessary.
about you
Education, Qualifications, and Certifications:
- Engineering Degree in Computer, Communication, Electronics, MIS or equivalent experience.
- Information security certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, etc.) are a plus.
Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of IT/network operation technical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in managing network and security infrastructures.
- Experience in an ITIL-managed activity is a plus.
- Very good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, routing, and switching).
- Very good understanding of network traffic security concepts & products
- In-depth experience with some of the following systems or equivalent solutions:
- Zscaler, Prisma Access, Netskope hands-on experience is a plus.
- SSL/TLS.
- SDWAN
- VPN Remote Access
- Cloud technologies - Azure/AWS is a plus.
- Troubleshooting skills using Wireshark or Fiddler.
- Hands-on experience in evaluating specifications, lab validating, & testing.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Hands-on experience in analyzing architecture and building proposals.
- Ability to write technical documentation for operations, Pre-sales, Sales & Marketing.
- Excellent English is a must, French is a plus
