about the role
Responsibilities
- Act as first level for managerial escalations
- Act as an internal level of technical escalation prior to the activation of the engineering team and coach the team accordingly to continually improve on autonomy figures.
- Maintain the monthly ticket reviews and provide operational status reports when requested
- Identify, collect & report data integrity issues to proper channels for fix action
- Review the tickets queue and ensure no delays, misalignments or wrong plan of action diversions occur.
- Interface with VSAT Project Managers during handover to operation to ensure proper handover of newly installed circuits.
- Interface and support the business unit with data demonstration, presentations for sales purpose.
- Development of staff to ensure skills levels match both current and future operational and customer requirements.
- Responsibility for ensuring adherence to company policy, process & procedures
- Implementation of the required strategies to ensure ongoing high levels of Customer Satisfaction through regular reviews defined ownership and continuous service improvement.
- Conduct management/staff performance reviews in accordance with company policy.
- Develop interlocks with other Incident Management teams in other MSCs.
about you
Skill Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in telecommunications or Computer Engineering
- 4-5 years of experience satellite services (Preferably Maritime)
- Strong background of network services (Preferably certified CCNA, CCNP/IP)
- Knowledge of problem management concepts & tools
- Strong analytical and continual improvement skills
- Profound social intelligence and people management skills
- Good presentation skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Outstanding Interpersonal and communication skills.
