about the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead and coach multiple Scrum teams in delivering high-quality products. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Development Teams, and stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring Agile principles and values are effectively applied. The Senior Scrum Master will also play a pivotal role in mentoring junior Scrum Masters and driving Agile transformation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Scrum Facilitation: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
- Agile Coaching: Mentor and coach Scrum teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices and continuous improvement.
- Impediment Removal: Proactively identify and remove impediments, ensuring smooth team operations.
- Collaboration & Communication: Act as a liaison between teams, stakeholders, and leadership, ensuring alignment and transparency.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track and report on sprint progress, velocity, and other key metrics to measure team performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of experimentation, feedback, and data-driven decisions.
- Agile Transformation: Drive and support Agile maturity initiatives at the enterprise level.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with product owners to maintain a healthy and prioritized product backlog.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment (5+ years preferred).
- Expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, Rally, VersionOne, etc.).
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Agile metrics (velocity, cycle time, burndown, etc.).
Leadership & Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and servant leadership mindset.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
- Coaching and mentoring capabilities to foster Agile maturity.
- Problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
¿¿ Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Certified SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) required.
- Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or PMI-ACP certification is a plus.
