about the role
Reporting directly to the head of Business Intelligence, this person is responsible for the overseeing activities relating to the pipeline, orders, backlog, billing, and reporting. Area Sales Operations Manager is in charge of business operations for the Sales area.
about you
Reporting: Establish and maintain processes to provide various dashboard, performance and business reports (i.e., revenue, orders, opex, accounts recieveable) as required on a scheduled or occasional basis by the areas sales head or the head of sales
operations.
Forecasting: Oversee monthly updates in Rebeca that reflect current revenue projections and the creation of a monthly revenue forecast for the sales area. Update Order and Strategic Order forecast for submission to Head of AME Sales. Including comparison of previous forecast to actual orders booked for the month, comparison to pipeline data for wins/losses/exits/additions, and one-on-one reviews with each area sales director. Also includes reporting/tracking major forecast changes that impact full year outlook and submitting commentary for forecast variance analysis.
Revenue Budgeting: Serve as the SPOC during the budget cycle (Pre-GAM & GAM). Coordinate Rebeca updates and monitor progress (includes reviewing pipeline data and building customer, Lob and Area view). Coordinate with AM’s and GPO to facilitate budget build for GAM accounts (A-end). Liase with BU’s to confirm/agree expectations. Work with sales area head to build presentation for AME Head of Sales.
Participate in top account reviews.
Billing / Credit Notes: Act as the SPOC for billing and credit notes. Submit items for addition to the AME credit note provision.
Act as approver for sales area head in credit and RFB date change tools. Assist with credit analysis/calculation where needed. Submit billing queries and credit requests into CARA.
Order Management: Engage with sales and order management team to address order related issue to resolution. Coordinate with order management lead on major order projects (renewals/new logos/special cases). Update order forecast when actual orders are booked
