about the role

Your Work Environment:

Within the Products and Marketing division, Communication Services Business Line, and the Simplification Program, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and monitoring multiple initiatives aimed at simplifying the Orange Business portfolio catalog.

 

Your Mission:

- Collaborate closely with all stakeholders involved in the simplified product to drive actions from commercial closure to technical decommissioning of the product, platform, or service. Stakeholders include, but are not limited to, the Product Manager, all sales channels (DEF, DGC, PRO-PME, IB, etc.), Operations teams, Solutions teams, Legal, Finance, and IT.

- Apply robust project management methodologies to meet or exceed objectives, manage risks, and monitor potential delays.

- Provide regular reports on project milestones and progress.

- Use this note as a guideline for clarifying responsibilities and zones of inquiry, based on workshop discussions with project leads. This document is not exhaustive but offers guidance on key areas of concern.

- Project managers and their line managers can rely on this note to accept or reject ecosystem requests, enabling more effective and proactive workload management.

 

Your Activities and Tasks:

- Analyze and identify, within the Business Line and operations, the scope of offers/products affected by the program.

- Facilitate a core team of key stakeholders with technical knowledge of tools and processes related to the concerned products.

- Manage projects according to their mandate, respecting schedules, methodologies, and financial objectives, with any changes consolidated with the Simplification Program.

- Identify potential risks and challenges, and develop mitigation plans.

- Propose and implement migration plans in collaboration with marketing, sales, operations, IT, and Finance.

- Monitor the evolution of the customer base, ensuring consistency between commercial and technical databases, especially between technical inventory and billing, initially established with the product manager’s assistance.

- Regularly extract appropriate data and develop reports and analyses.

- Provide consolidated and qualified data to project stakeholders.

- Collaborate with IT and activity owners to identify all relevant data within IT systems for the project.

- Support tools evolution in partnership with IT.

- Consolidate lists of clients/services to be canceled or suspended, specifying conditions for reinstatement.

- Implement a system to detect delayed productions and canceled target orders to control each migration.

- Coordinate the suspension phase of services, starting from the official notification date to clients.

- Plan required resources and alert for shortages; delegate and monitor actions undertaken by third parties.

- Organize steering committees to make necessary structural decisions for project execution.

- Organize and track deviations and exceptions.


about you

Your Professional Experience:

- Minimum of 5 years managing projects within the IT, Networks, or Telecommunications industry, with a background in Data, Networks, and Security.

 

Your Qualifications:

- PMP certification or equivalent required, or

- Hold a degree in Project Management or equivalent with at least 5 years of project management experience, or

- MBA/Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 3 years of project management experience.
