about the role
Your mission
- Providing technical expertise on Microsoft Collaboration solutions and the VISIT SIP trunking certification program, ensuring thorough validation processes within a diverse ecosystem.
- Executing test plans for each major release, including corrections and enhancements, to guarantee the quality and performance of our services.
- Supporting pre-sales activities (approximately 10% of your time) by leveraging your technical knowledge to assist in customer engagements.
- Collaborating with two project leads based in France to align on validation strategies and ensure successful implementation.
- Managing internal Microsoft Labs to facilitate testing and validation processes, working closely with various teams to enhance service offerings.
- Optimizing both validation processes for Collaboration and SIP trunking to create a unified testing plan that enhances efficiency and effectiveness.
- Focusing the VISIT validation on trunking aspects while ensuring the Collaboration validation emphasizes user experience and functionality.
- Participating in cross-functional workshops to align on best practices and share insights with other teams involved in the validation process.
about you
What we expect from you
- 5 years in a relevant engineering field, preferably with a focus on Cloud Collaboration or Voice.
- Expertise in Cloud Collaboration solutions, particularly with Microsoft technologies (Teams Operator Connect and Direct routing).
- Strong understanding of voice technologies, including SIP, QoS, SBC, codecs, and IP telephony.
- Familiarity with networking infrastructure, routing, DNS & DHCP, and security compliance.
- Experience in executing test plans and validation processes for telecommunication services.
- Proficiency in using collaboration platforms and tools for project management.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a keen curiosity for new technologies, and excellent communication abilities to interact with diverse teams. They should also be capable of working independently while being a good collaborator, and exhibit adaptability in response to market and technological changes.
