about the role

Attached to the Sales VP Large Projects, the head of pre-sales projects intervenes in complex pre-sales cases (particularly on the IRIS2 programme of the European satellite constellation) which require the establishment of a project-based organisation.

He/she takes charge of the management and construction of the commercial offer involving different areas of expertise and competence, coordinating all the actors in charge of the pre-sales, the qualification of needs, the development of the technical and operational offer, and if necessary the presentation of the offer.

He/she leads the development of the architecture for operator customer solutions on technical aspects, services, costs and deadlines.

 

Description of mission and activities

Large Projects works closely with:

- Regional sales teams and OWI (Orange Wholesale International) marketing;

- other entities/BUs

Large Projects is responsible for:

- Management of business opportunities projects (RLO-RBO, steercos);

- the contractualisation (with legal, invoicing,...);

- identifying opportunities on new segments and pipeline development (examples: new MEO-LEO satellite operators, data centers, professional services for new submarine cable projects, indirect distribution partners, MVNOs).


about you

5 years experience

Telco engineer or equivalent, you want to invest in complex strategic projects from the pre-sales stage, multi-business units, build tailor-made offers and access a high level of technical-commercial negotiation in an international context.

You are autonomous in the technological choices that you know how to defend before the client and internally, including in English.

Satellite expertise would be a plus.

Fluency in English, both written and verbal
