about the role
SME-Vendor Management is responsible to manage relationship with one or multiple vendors to derive best value for Businesses and Customers.
SME-Vendor Management is expected to single point of contact for International Business Operations for vendor and responsible to manage end to end activities related to allocated vendors.
SME-Vendor Management is responsible for identifying key performance indicators to measure vendor performance on multiple aspects – business, customer, strategy, finance, operations, and digital transformation. He / She is also responsible to ensure alignment on definition, measurement of these indicators with vendors.
SME-Vendor Management is expected to represent Orange Business Services in multiple vendor forums and should be able to demonstrate success stories, key challenges and joint areas of improvement. He / She is expected to work in collaboration with other entities including Sourcing, Finance, Product Development etc. to build healthy and working level interlocks between internal stakeholders and vendor.
SME-Vendor Management is expected to monitor Vendor Organization in terms of mergers and acquisitions, financial performance, changes in the organization structure, new product introduction and assessing and analyzing the impact on businesses and customers.
SME-Vendor Management is responsible to continuously drive improvement in ways of working with vendor and internal stakeholders which will help both the organization to grow business together.
SME-Vendor Management is expected to lead or support multiple and transversal projects related to vendor and support business growth.
SME-Vendor Management is responsible for developing early warning system to anticipate escalations and effectively and efficiently managing escalations to ensure customer satisfaction.

- Vendor Governance – Business, Customer, Strategy, Finance, Operations, Digital Transformation
- Responsible to drive periodic review with vendors and monitor progress.
- Support Lead in developing strategies for managing vendors considering ongoing business and future potential growth
- Be single point of contact for International Business Operations between Internal Stakeholders and Vendors
- Support lead in multiple transformation initiatives in Vendor Management function

Skills Required:
- Excellent knowledge of Vendor Management at Global Level is must.
- In depth understanding of Services business and industry and importance of vendor management
- Experience in procurement, supply chain, order management, logistic
- Ability to manage Executive Level Relationship in vendor organization
- Agile, Scrum, PMP Certification will b preferred.
- Kaizan, JIT will be an added advantage
