About the Role
Are you experienced in managing complex customer accounts and contracts? We are looking for a Customer Commercial Partner to lead the commercial side of our most important accounts. In this role, you will ensure smooth contract management, financial accuracy, and strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-sales Support
- Work closely with sales and pre-sales teams to define contract terms, conditions, and governance.
- Identify and manage risks related to contracts, billing, and cash collection.
- Help develop value propositions and assess financial and contractual risks.
- Estimate the effort needed to manage contracts throughout their lifecycle.
Contract & Financial Management
- Manage all activities related to customer contracts, including negotiations, amendments, and dispute resolution.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and documented properly.
- Oversee billing, cash collection, and revenue processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Keep the customer catalog and price list up to date.
- Monitor and improve key performance metrics like Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
Governance & Process
- Create and maintain a framework for contract execution, governance, and reporting.
- Manage post-contract changes and escalate issues when needed.
- Lead meetings with internal teams and customers to track contract progress.
- Support continuous improvement of contract and financial processes.
Knowledge Sharing & Team Leadership
- Share best practices and lessons learned to grow our expertise.
- Lead virtual teams and coordinate with various stakeholders to deliver excellent service.
- Promote a customer-centric approach and foster teamwork.
about you
Key Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Business, Science, or a related field. Certifications like ITIL V3/V4, PMP, Prince2, or Six Sigma are a plus.
- Experience: At least 7 years in Contract or Financial management, especially in IT or telecom sectors. Minimum 3 years in customer-facing roles.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills. Good at process optimization and problem-solving.
- Knowledge: Familiar with billing systems, contract management, and market trends in telecom. Knowledge of legal and financial principles is important.
- Languages: Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Additional: Experience working with multicultural and virtual teams is preferred.

He or she provides the services in pre-sales or post-sales with the goal to increase OBS’s efficiency and quality, to limit risks associated to the contract and commercial management and to achieve a high customer satisfaction.
Base salary from 2 410 € brutto per month, actual salary is likely to be higher based on skills, knowledge and experience.
