about the role

Purpose: Manage complex Telco projects, during RFP phases, by providing expertise on connectivity, cost optimization and market trend analysis, supporting Sales to develop business and win deals.

 

Main activities: 

  • Act as Sourcing Expert & Project Manager for connectivity
  • Qualify the customer connectivity requirements and context with the stakeholders
  • Define the Sourcing strategy with the Sourcing Buyers through challenging cost-effective solution & access design optimization & to ensure complete, accurate and timely responses for account team.
  • Review, challenge & analyze quotation competitiveness and risk to recommend the optimized solution.
  • During post-sales phase, collect agreed customer requests, qualify design change if any and launch quote refresh & renegotiation where required.
  • Capitalize on knowledge sharing, lessons learned & contribute to bid process improvement

Main deliverables:

  • Build the Sourcing Scorecard (qualification check list) & the Smart Design (mutual agreement between Sales & Sourcing) following the qualification meeting done with the stakeholders
  • Complete optimized costs through the quotation tools
  • Prepare the Sourcing Deal Input (spend summary & analysis) on time for the deal acceptance & review committees. 
  • Lessons learnt for major deal
