Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our IS Tools Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate complex business needs into clear, well-documented user stories. This role involves close collaboration with business partners to accurately capture requirements and communicate them effectively within an Agile environment, utilizing SAFe methodologies and Jira for project management. Proficiency in database management and SQL is essential for data analysis and supporting strategic decision-making. The analyst will support the entire software delivery lifecycle, including testing, acceptance, and post-implementation support, ensuring solutions meet business expectations.

The primary mission of the IS Tools Business Partner Analyst is to ensure efficient alignment between business operations and IT solutions. The analyst aims to improve business processes by effectively translating requirements into actionable insights while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through effective collaboration.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business partners to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.

Translate business needs into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile best practices.

Work closely with development teams to clarify requirements, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery.

Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in Jira, ensuring it reflects current project needs and business priorities.

Use SQL and data analytics tools to extract, analyze, and interpret data, providing insights to inform business decisions.

Support the software delivery process, including testing, user acceptance, and post-deployment support.

Provide ongoing stakeholder support, including status updates, issue resolution, and guidance on project deliverables.


about you

Required Skills:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology or software development environment.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Jira)

Familiarity with software development life cycle and project management best practices.

Experience with data analytics, database, and SQL.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Experience in the resale and integration services business

Preferred Skills:

Experience with project management tools and techniques

Industry certifications related to business analysis or Agile methodologies.
