Job Purpose:

As the Manager of Wincash and Retail Functions, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and innovation within our DevOps framework. You will oversee both the day-to-day operations and the implementation of new commercial initiatives, ensuring our technical infrastructure is continuously upgraded and optimized.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Leadership:

  • Lead the Sales Solutions team, fostering a collaborative culture that promotes creativity and high performance.
  • Strategically allocate projects and tasks based on team capacity and individual expertise to maximize efficiency.
  • Ensure the operational integrity and security of platforms, achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality and reliability.
  • Plan and oversee necessary upgrades and expansions for system nodes, aligning them with business objectives.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to assess and implement effective architectural solutions.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive budgets for capital expenditures (Capex) and operational expenses (Opex).
  • Prepare and present detailed management reports on project status, risks, and incidents to stakeholders.

People Development:

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, identifying opportunities for professional growth and training.
  • Facilitate regular performance appraisals to support team members' career advancement and skill development.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Communications or Computer Science) from a recognized university.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is highly desirable.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional command of English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including expertise in various database languages (e.g., Oracle, SQL).
  • Solid experience in system administration for both Windows and Linux environments, with a focus on RHEL systems.
