THE DEPARTMENT

Orange Business Finance organization, as a business partner, fully support Orange Business management team in executing its strategic plan. To be successful, this implies the Finance organization to bring more value to the business and transform its way to support the business.

We set up the department Finance Transformation & Innovation, which pools together all the Finance Business experts and Solution experts, who work together on the various initiatives, leading to Orange Business transformation. These experts ensure the consistency in terms of quality and relevance of the processes and technical solutions for our Finance and Business users. They analyze and prioritize the needs of our internal customers (Controlling, Accounting, …), and ensure the evolutions to latest tools and regulatory standards, …

YOUR ACTIVITIES

As Business expert, you guarantee the consistency and compliance of OBS management model, the analyses of Orange Business financial performance.
You design and own the processes; you measure and improve the performance of the processes across all Orange Business entities.
You analyze, design, and deploy the relevant processes and analyses on specific business components. You ensure the end-to-end consistency from transactional (operational and Finance) to decisional applications.
You help controllers to define their use cases and you develop the specifications required for applications and tools.
You prioritize the use cases based on the value, the benefits for the Business.
You communicate and train the Finance community on the processes, and the tools together with the Solution experts.
With the Solution experts and Group experts, you explore and test new processes, practices, and technics.
 

Together with 2 others Business Experts, you will focus on the area of Revenue and Commercial Metrics across Orange Business:

• Your contacts are: controlling, accounting, Tax, Marketing, Sales, and the Account Receivable Accounting Business Expert
• Together with the Orange Business IFRS expert (IFRS 15), you define the closing, reporting, referential principles: for revenue, pipeline and order in-take, IFRS 15 backlog, Cash collection (DSO), Sales efficiency (marketing and sales costs, sales team incentives, …)
• You design the relevant processes and predictive models to measure commercial performance and simulate the revenue and order forecasts, Budget, strategic plan
• You promote the use of new technologies like Artificial Intelligence
• You develop the specifications with Solution experts to adapt the ERP, the EPM
