Purpose of the job

Supervise the supplier during the installation and commissioning phases for New Sectors , New Sites with its TX prerequisites or during modification and upgrade actions of on air sites.

Duties and responsibilities

  1. Implement the Rollout process for New 2G , 3G sites and sectors and monitor it with internal teams and suppliers.
  2. Handle the rollout plan with suppliers and subcontractors.
  3. Ensure the readiness of all activities and preparations needed to launch New 2G , 3G sites and sectors on air in the field.
  4. Ensure the readiness of all related W.Os (BSS , TX & Core data) and coordinate with the concerned parties to ensure applying data properly.
  5. Supervise and handle teams internally like access maintenance, core operation , core maintenance ,packet core ..etc. and supplier to integrate New SRAN sites and Sectors etc.
  6. Arrange site intervention process including action plans.
  7. Find solutions with internal and external parties for any problem may delay launching new sites/sectors on air .
  8. Regular updates for the sites progress and making sure all obstacles are cleared keeping the records using databases , dashboards ....etc

Job specification

Education

Bachelor degree in Communication Engineering

Experience

Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar field.

Skills and abilities

  1. Very good English both spoken and written.
  2. Telecommunication and GSM awareness.
  3. Extensive technical knowledge of BSS and Tx equipment, installation, commissioning and integration.
  4. Accurate, reliable with excellent negotiation skills.
  5. Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with a variety of people from different organizations.
  6. Strong business and administrative skills.
  7. Ability to work in a team.
  8. Motivated and self-confident.
