Lead, Messaging Services

Purpose of the job

Handling Messaging services as Dev-Ops model, starting from feasibility study, integration , Go-live activities, in addition to handling operational tasks after going live.

Duties and responsibilities

1. Handling different messaging systems & services, Dev-Ops responsibilities.

1. Managing the feasibility study for any new Messaging Service, feature, or product
2. Monitoring messaging Traffic and handle any capacity expansion or SW upgrade needed
3. Inspecting L2 Support for complains or issues related to Messaging either from customers or internal/ external applications connected to SMSC
4. Performing Work Orders on all Messaging nodes ( new creations / deletion / Traffic Routing ,etc)
5. Conducting Daily checks on all Messaging nodes , and take the necessary action in case of any issue noticed
6. Handling Incidents with Vendor and manage its technical investigation till closure

Job specification

Education

Bachelor degree in Telecommunication and Electronics Engineering or Computer Science

Experience

0-2 years of experience in telecom industry.

Skills and abilities

1. Very good English both written and spoken.

2. Very good Microsoft office knowledge.

3. Good UNIX admin skills.

4. Basic networking skills.

5. Project management Skills
