The Knowledge Manager oversee and steward all knowledge management aspects of a business.
Using information and communication tools, this modern-day archivist will disseminate knowledge and techniques specific to each department within a company to the entire organization.
The primary goal of the Knowledge Manager is to foster teamwork and collaboration by promoting sharing and reducing barriers between various departments within the same company.
The main scope and responsibilities of the Knowledge Manager include:
¿ Developing knowledge management within the company.
¿ Implementing and promoting a knowledge-sharing culture among employees to foster a knowledge-driven organization.
¿ Collecting knowledge, processing information, and managing its dissemination through tools like the directory or internal search engine.
¿ Measuring the relevance and performance of techniques, including quantitative and qualitative monitoring, vigilance, and benchmarking.
The required skills to become a Knowledge Manager are as follows:
¿ The Knowledge Manager must have a comprehensive understanding of the company both internally and externally.
¿ He needs to be familiar with all employees and departments within the company, as well as market players such as suppliers, customers, and direct competitors.
¿ To provide the most relevant information and the most effective tools, this knowledge leader must be a good listener, have strong interpersonal skills, be a natural leader, stay informed on the latest company developments, and be aware of trends in the world of information and communication technology.
¿ He must, therefore, have experience with audio, video, and text media, as well as proficiency in word processing software and collaborative 2.0 tools such as blogs, wikis, and social media.

Job expectations and deliverables :
¿ Maintenance/Update of the WIKI / dissemination of information in general
¿ Creation of new knowledge bases (e.g., MOP, technical deliverables, etc.)
¿ Creation of newsletters for clients and internal communication
¿ Monitoring of the TAM/GSDD/Project Manager Automation committee communications
¿ Reporting and analysis of data collected (e.g., missing information alerts)
¿ Research into new information technologies
¿ Monitoring and measuring the audience of disseminated documents
votre profil
The Knowledge Manager should possess a master’s degree (bac+5) specialized in human sciences or documentation and information.
Position of the Knowledge Manager within the NSOC service:
The activities of this role are aligned with the widespread use of information and communication tools. The vast majority of companies now use new media to communicate externally, as well as to streamline internal information.
The Knowledge Manager position will be based in Mauritius.
